SYNAPS PoE is designed to meet outdoor video, along with WiFi and Mesh network security requirements.
SYNAPS-PoE is an outdoor network interface box dedicated to video applications and PoE powered transmissions. In the event of a brown-out, it ensures continuity of service for the equipment it protects with the built-in Li-ion battery.
Built-in functions:
- Depending on model, secures
up to 4 PoE/PoE+ devices, with 55W of power available for PoE,
or up to 5 PoE/PoE+/HiPoE devices with 120W of power with fiber link,
or up to 8 PoE/PoE+/HiPoE devices with 180W of power, 2 fiber links and extensive network protection functions. - Device Activity Monitoring for automatic per-port reboot.
- Filters disturbances of the electrical network.
- 10 kA lightning arrester.
- Reboot function configurable from supervision.
- Protected and backed up Ethernet manageable switch with 2 to 6 ports
- Uplink on combo port with fiber link depending on model.
- Secure protocols: SNMP V1 & V3 / HTTPS / BACnet IP.
- Customer equipment can be hosted within cabinet.

Que ce soit des agressions naturelles, telles que les chocs de foudre, accidentelles, comme les perturbations générées par d'autres équipements, ou criminelles, le vandalisme par exemple, SYNAPS assure une protection et la garantie d'un fonctionnement sans faille des objets raccordés. SYNAPS est même doté d'une fonction de maintenance de premier niveau : en cas de plantage d'un objet, il le redémarre automatiquement. Et en cas d'échec, il prévient la supervision.
La supervision du système et des périphériques qui sont raccordés se fait par le biais d'un webserver cyber-protégé.
